Hi, yes you can. Afternic and Sedo ask for txt record verification whereas dan and brandpa ask you to change the Name Servers to point to them. I was advised to only have Buy it now on the site that uses the NS eg dan or brandpa (they are just what I use)

you can only use one lot of name servers as they are what point a domain to a website, you cant point your domain to more than one website. because of that, you a) want to have the buy it now on the website that the domain points to and b) you have to use other methods of verification for the other market places because you cant use changing name servers for all of them, so txt record is used for all the ones that accept txt records.

This is hurting. You dont need to point your domains at each marketplace.
Afternic, just add it. No verification required
Dan, add it, you can even add names you dont own there.
Sedo, I always point nameservers to sedo, wait until it totally resolves
https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/
Then add the name. I have never had to add txt verification at sedo by waiting until ns propogate.

As for BIN, put bin everywhere, least of your worries is someone buying it at multiple places at once.
It doesn't matter where domain points to have your domains listed at 3 above marketplaces.
And by putting multiple NS like sedo and afternic on your domain at same time, it wont resolve.
txt verification is not needed at afternic, above information is incorrect.

Are you having an issue listing it at a certain marketplace?

I buy domains from namecheap . So i used the custom dns option for all the domains by inserting afternic dns as primary and optional for sedo / dan .

Are you saying that, for Sedo, you can change your NS temporarily to Sedo, post the name with them, and then change the NS back to elsewhere after the listing is confirmed with them?
And, if you instead put the txt stuff in, after the verification occurs, can this removed?

Yes I'm also interested about this. Since I setup my DNS pointing to DAN, now I can't add a txt field with the SEDO code verification. How should I do?

I used Namecheap (or namesilo) dns, added the text records to sedo and afternic and then after they confirm they are verified, the last thing, pointed the dns to Dan (or brandpa). I used Dan (or brandpa) as my BIN lander.

Thanks! May I also just use this verify.sedo.com as DNS and then switch back to DAN.com DNS afterward?

Always sedo ns first. Wait till they resolve and you can see sedo lander.
I do this as the other two big players, you dont need to confirm ownership
As soon as my name is approved, when i add it to sedo, usually minutes ns1 and ns2
I move nameservers to appropriate spot as i dont want a parked page indexed anywhere

So does adding the txt verification to Sedo enable your listing to be indexed, even if it isn't parked there? And, in general, can the txt verification be removed after the initial Sedo listing succeeds?

Yes, you can add the Sedo txt verification file to your domain DNS text records, to verify your domain to be approved at Sedo. You don't need to park the domain there.
And yes, after the domain is approved at Sedo, you can remove the txt file from your DNS.

By the way, better to first upload the Sedo txt verification file to your domain DNS text records, and then, after 10 or 20 minutes later, add the domain to Sedo. Then it will be listed almost instantly.

If you do it the other way, it may take quite longer to be approved by Sedo.

Hope it helps. :xf.wink: (y)
