DNF - Parked Page!

It seems someone has used the wrong nameservers for DNF - it is currently resolving to a parked page here in the UK!

What makes me wonder is the "DNF may be for sale!" link!!

I was discussing to a fellow member when I found out about it after refresh. It will be few hours or days before it populate again. Too bad.



I'm about to say this. I was in Traffic last year. This is why I don't share my info, no assurance of security.

Not that this is any reflection on TRAFFIC but it would be pretty easy for a hacker to sit in a hotel room and hack the hell out of the wireless network in the (or any) conference room, especially one where it's filled with million dollar domains.

Not saying this happened but something I thought about at the last conference I went to.

Not sure if I would trust any hotel with wireless internet security.

I originally thought it was a bulk nameserver update error, however, the fact that DNF must have been added to the parking provider for it to say "DNF is for sale" makes me think that someone has hacked the domain to make a bit of money through PPC while Adam is away at TRAFFIC.

Adam uses Smartname NS for many of his domains, which makes me think it maybe a mistake....I'd hate to think it's a hack.

It is not poisoned, the DNS was changed to smartname name server. It could be accidentally changed or you know what.

Adam uses Smartname NS for many of his domains, which makes me think it maybe a mistake....I'd hate to think it's a hack.

Here in Asia , this is a parked pages too. Things happen 30 mins ago and there are bulk of posts.
I once think namepros has few active poster but this thread change my mind .

Good find - I think this pretty much confirms the fact that it was a nameserver error by the owner of DNF.
