What's with all these names ending in ZIA now seeming to be trendy at BB?

It's easier to whine (continually for years) than actually do something.

Years? Who's been whining for years? Surely you don't mean me, as I was bb's biggest promoter last year at NamesCon, which was less than a year ago. @hookbox has been HELPING for years whereas fanboys (myself previously included) are simply propagating the marketplace in support of their own interests. This is not to say that bb hasn't done a GREAT job defining an industry, just saying, The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Yet, they rejected Gym/zo. I bought this on NP from another prominent bb seller. I assume it was also rejected for them.

Meanwhile....

Game/Collab
O/f/f/e/r/i/c/a

Rejected. I like the sound of the latter one a lot, and the first one is obviously cool for game development collaboration. Pretty much past caring now whether BB accepts or not these days.

On a positive note, got sale/mode and v/e/r/d/o/s/a in, but is there really any point listing with them anymore, I mean for me....probably not.

Game/collab is a great name imo

There is a company called GameColab which maybe why they didn't accept it?

Thanks,

Lots of names have existing or past companies operating with the same name. It just depends on the reviewer...do they understand the market....have they checked crunchbase, startupranking, techcrunch etc for name trends.

Anyway. Onwards the upwards! :)

Just got 3 more names accepted. Just need a sale or 2 now to help.

I had JobCollab listed recently. I thought it was borderline. Not sure how "collab" comes across to real businesses.

Don't get too down about rejects. I had a name rejected on Sep 10 sell for almost $3K a few days ago via Uniregistry BIN lander.

I think the logo helps sell names on BB, but as inventory grows larger, you lose the edge of people who come in through BrandBucket.com.

I just glanced through your list and I would email them and ask them to re-review g y m u x with a description ([email protected])

Add in the description Gym and User Experience (UX is the internet abbreviation).

It's worth a go, good luck!

Thank you for your comment. I have sent an email to BB.

Well appreciated!

Let me know how you get on. I've had a couple accepted after it was rejected then I emailed and explained what I saw in the domain so it's always worth a go I think. The worst thing that can happen is that they say no again...

Good luck!

  • qhemist.com

Interesting play here. I see what you were going for, strong keyword and all, but I don't think 'ch' words translate well with a 'Q'

  • qaterpillar.com

Not sure why they didn't accept this. My guess being the length, and/or caterpillar in general is a tough word to spell. Visually speaking, you could combine an apple with a caterpillar crawling out the bottom right to show an emphasis of the Q. And/or could be marketed towards QA (Quality Assurance)

The q in this word could be confused with the word quarter

You may replace a C with a Q or R like Crumb Qrumb Krumb.

QH is odd IMO..

Thanks Grill,

I like getting feedback on my rejected names. I'm here to learn more. At this point I've had more sales with BB rejects anyway so no worries.

Caterpillar is a well-know company, maybe this is the reason for rejecting the name.

  • streamzi is the only one I would renew,
*BB prefer zy over zi
