Most like they are in Michael krells portfolio. I don't think it allows you to submit other extensions

Edit

I am wrong, they now do allow you to submit .io and .me

There were 24 more rejected like Zyye, Toym, Ouuh. Buct is obviously a good name, and should have been selected. Maybe i submitted too many 4Letter at once.

They are getting ridiculous! Buct.com and toym.com are better than 95% of their stock.

BB rejected Zuaya.com, I dont know why, its a city in Africa but who knows, I can give many examples of like this which made great brands. Zuaya.com could be a great name for any Luxury related product like Spa Chain, Car Brand, Resort, Women Clothing range etc. Endless possibilities but BB refused this 5L.com, dont understand why?

Zuaya is maybe a little tricky to pronounce? If it had been accepted, I don't think anyone would've been surprised. I would hold onto it, maybe list it for a few hundred on Sedo, renew it for a couple years and pay attention to the 5L pronounceable market. The good news about having a 5L pronounceable rejected at BB is that it still has value above and beyond reg-fee.

My approval rate is about 20%. Some weeks I'm 80%, other times I'm a mere 5%. I was in a slump for a while, but recently broke out with some 5/6 letter approvals. Of my recent rejections, I question:
rejects.PNG

That said, remember BrandBucket allows you to resubmit. I plan on resubmitting after the New Year. Does anybody have any success stories about taking the time to write a decent description as to the use of the domain to give the approver a better idea of the domain?

I've had probably a 5% rate in the past in getting my rejects approved at a later date with a decent description. I'm more motivated to resubmit after reading about another member recently having their reject accepted and sold via BB.

I genuinely don't believe they read the descriptions. I have a domain which includes the net org info and plurals of all too, that was bid up to $30K on Flippa a few years ago. I mentioned that in the description and included a link so they could see for themselves when I submitted it in May of this year (when I started BB). The domain was accepted... at $1,750. I didn't list it obviously and haven't bothered to submit any more top domains.

It's been a long time since I wrote anything in the descriptions.

Thanks for sharing. I'd have bet some of those would get accepted. I specially like SweetStats, can't tell exactly why. Maybe that 'tst' part makes it a bit difficult but I still like it a lot.

Had some rejections lately. Among them I had good expectations for these two:

F i t n i c o

D r e a m C o m b o

You lose the hang of it quite quickly if you don't have a daily routine.

I recently stepped up acquisitions again, and man I'm off target.

Looking at the names above I'd say f i t n i c o is streching it. f i t i c o might have done better. d r e a m c o m b o sounds ok, but has no apparent business appeal. Could use a more premium keyword IMO.

Thanks for your thoughts about them.

Regarding f i t n i c o, my feeling is it can be easily linked to any fitness project. I guess that's why I quickly liked it.

I agree d r e a m c o m b o doesn't sound too obviously... 'business friendly', but it might fit any project implying combinations or mix (a dating app? something about fashion?) or could also be good for a specific marketing campaign, not necessarily a pure brand.

Well, I'll try to keep my faith in them... at least until renewal date approaches ;)

I just beat my personnal record of consecutive accepted names with 6.

I'm in the middle of a record run, 6 accepted, going on 7 with Comic Bit.

My percentages with keywords is low, though Comic Bit is one of those purchases even if BB declines it, I'm still very happy with the purchase. 7 in a row sure would be a nice way to start the new year though :D

I suppose I understand why LLayer was declined. They have Layer Layer listed, and probably wanted to protect the seller.

Hmm, could be a possibility. The owner of this name has a lot of names listed on BB….

I don't think LLayer is really a BB type name. More utilitarian than brandable to my eye.

On another note, I'm on an opposite streak to @Grilled Jesus -- had 8 out of 8 rejected yesterday. Looked at my last 50 and 14 were accepted, or 28%, which is down from about 40% acceptance I used to have.

Great sequence!

I did not submit a domain on BB since Nov-13th. I was 23 out of 40 (58%) in my last month when I stopped. I was getting good at it.

I submitted one today that they will probably accept "OZPO.com". But I will only publish if they suggest a high XXXX price. If they suggest $3K-$4K, I will not publish it.

They have rejected many 4L.com good domains of mine. Which i later sold at very good price. I have seen many worst names on BB and i guess if they try to sell those domains to domainers here or in after market. No one will pay more than $10.
