Service names may the king but not everyone purchases domains to sell to the end users, there are product names and they do well.

I do agree that MS is renaming Augmented Reality to Holo. Quoting from Wikipedia "The term "app" is a shortening of the term "application software". Then why cant there be "Holo" for Holograms? or Holographic? In an era where people pay good $$$ for brandables you are saying "Holo" will fail? I tend to absolutely disagree.

Sony's move technology was accepted more than Microsofts Kinect but Kinect is a far far better technology (if anyone has doubts this check out Kinect hacks on youtube). MS deserves an applause for this and now for their vision for Augmented Reality.

Why attack each others domains? If you have an advice present it, if you have an argument then argue but in most cases people are doubting their own investments and/or arguing based on their knowledge about what will work in future? and/or bashing or pumping. Whats the point? Market manipulation?

Lets rather have a healthy environment where people discuss and learn instead of having a circle of greed beyond which there is no hope no future and everything fails.

i own a decent amount of holo names myself, so why would i ever say something like this?

.. i DID, however, say that Holo names WILL be subject to TM suits later.. write that down - that's about as sure a thing as we can talk about here on this thread.

You are making no-sense with regards to holoprojector, yes you need a projector to project a hologram but can you do it with a normal projector? what about a 3dprojector?

You really do make yourself look like a fool...I don't think you will ever get domaining!

... no one is going to care about WHAT KIND of transistors are in your computer
do you care about what KIND of camera lens is inside your smartphone right now?

I sell 3d/4d projection services and know a LOT about this industry... from projection mapping to holographic projection

i get inquiries DAILY from HUGE companies.... The NFL, the NY Rangers, Universal Studios... BIG TIME entities

i get a LOT of holographic inquiries... mostly they are referenced as Holograms... holo will eventually be more popular as a BRAND, but i can't see someone writing me on my site asking about getting HOLO done for a client... the amount of inquiries now has easily doubled since last year.

When we still have normal projectors in the industry that can't produce anything we will not drop the term holo/ holographic if that is what a certain type of projector produces?
