There are certainly some big things happening in AR with google investing around $500 million in Magic Leap and now with the Microsoft's headset. It is interesting that they decided to market it with the word holographic, likely because more people have an idea about what it is, when I believe it is technically AR.
The other "next trend" I'm long on is exoskeletons.

Quite a few holo names unregistered still. Or dropped. A short search and I came up with hologreeting / com. Interesting how many of these were registered years ago, then dropped because the owners were impatient or lost confidence.
