I have recently read that the drone industry is trying to change the word "drone" to something different.

The word "drone" has a very bad rep. for obvious reasons.

What do you think will happen with the word "drone" and drone domain names?

Had a solid xxxx offer for DroneLeagues.com but then buyer disappeared....
Few days ago I sold DroneVideos.us for $125 to the owner of DroneVideos.com and also traded him DroneVideos.biz for his NJmeds.com.
We both did well and he may be picking up more today.

But I would seriously look for drone then FPV though, it gets riskier away from those. Even FPV is risky.

Wondering how you're able to see what names are pending through Escrow? (Can you see my pender....man I really hope that finalizes!)

Check the WHOIS email

So Escrow is not broadcasting this info obviously, it's just something one figures out looking at whois. Gotcha.

FPV droning is now considered a commercial application. I wonder if the FAA will essentially put all drone racing on hold till pilots get certified?
