I have recently read that the drone industry is trying to change the word "drone" to something different.

The word "drone" has a very bad rep. for obvious reasons.

What do you think will happen with the word "drone" and drone domain names?

So here's my question... do I whip together some quick sites for my drone domains and sit on them or park em and go for the quick flip since this is such an active industry right now?

Anyone finding good places to sell hot tech domains or just listing at the usual places and waiting?

FPV droning is now considered a commercial application. I wonder if the FAA will essentially put all drone racing on hold till pilots get certified?

The New Regs go into play today, here in the U.S. -where the FAA expects 600,000 commercial drones will take flight in the first year alone. There are only around 20,000 now.

I think the word will trend one day- surely in a year or two people won't say "flying a drone" when they can say droning, right?

Yeah I remember when Stu was selling off names and working his ass off for something big- never heard that he sold it though, that's awesome if he got 5 figures for it.

I was actually on the fence about buying this. Anyhow, unless it's the .com I'd stay away. That means droning.whatevers and droningkeyword .coms.

I have 5 or 6 droningkeyword.coms. Probably will gamble on 3 or 4 of them for a couple more years. I don't really like the sound of the word though.
