I have recently read that the drone industry is trying to change the word "drone" to something different.

The word "drone" has a very bad rep. for obvious reasons.

What do you think will happen with the word "drone" and drone domain names?

Buy on the aftermarket in these future tech or developing niches, most of them were gone ages ago

Yes I hope to be there again this year. They are a very enthusiastic friendly bunch.

I see what you mean by more drones companies attending this year. The more the merrier. In fact the earlier they start buying our names the better

But what I was trying to say what that in the industry, companies seem to have names more associated with uav, uas and unmanned more than they do drone. Almost a quarter of the companies there have uav names and I said I only noticed a few with drones. Maybe someone else can do more research on this.

One company has a drone name yet still added uav at the back. Just to cover all bases. DroneTech UAV. I like the name for reasons i dont know.

This doesn't mean drone names wont sell or even that these companies wont buy drone names. Just something I observed and I think worth noting. Being aware of this can help shape reg strategy

That's very strange because it dropped on Jan. 1 and was caught by Domainmonster. Now it drops 5 days later???
