Disappointing interview

I have been searching the employment market for a couple of months now, I thought maybe i had found a nice opportunity with a real estate company, I have had my license to sell real estate for over ten years now, I have mostly only sold land, not houses though, the interview went fairly well until close to the end, then they ask me if i might consider that being of male gender might hurt my chances in selling the housing industry, I was like OOOOOOOOOOk, I would say the industry here in my state is majority female realtors, Being as i am relocating to california, i wasn't looking for a long term position in the industry here, but i could hardly believe they actually made that statement, So i guess i will keep doing what i am doing until i relocate, CNC machinest, although the house buying boom is over, California still has a great economy for it, aswell as selling just land, California here i come! Well, as soon as the people except my offer on a house there any way-LOL
