Digitalgreetings.net is a new application that sends greeting cards to all your facebook friends. It is very well built and rock solid stable, it never crashes and has no bugs at all. It comes with 85 (yes 85) completely custom designed ecards. A designer from spain did the designs for me. It also comes with a very well built admin area. This is a full application with everything you need to turn it into a viable business.
So what is so good about this application?
Two things..clean design and scalibiity . These are the core strengths of Digital Greetings. The app design is beautiful and you would be very hard pressed to find any other app that looks remotely as good as this one. Digital Greetings is simply the most fun and simplest way to send greeting cards to other people.
You can use the technology in this app for any other app that sends cards/gifts/ or anything at all to your facebook friends. Want to make a gifting app from this? It's created in Python and django with a postreqsl database.
It also uses notification technology, which let's the app communicate with the users, (Using Postmark) and daily reminders (this is done via MailChimp).

There are several ways one could make money with it. Here are some:
1. Advertising inside the cards sent. One could add this feature and advertising could go on those dedicated pages when users receive cards from their friends.
2. Membership. Because of the server space for all the cards people send to each other and being able to get access later, there could be different user levels (free, starter, premium) where you could assign benefits to paid users-more storage, access to premium cards, sending gifts, etc.
3. You could integrate other apps to it, instead of sending greetings, this app could send Gift Cards through it. This is a nice feature to make 5-10% through every gift certificate sent, thus another way to make money.
4. You can integrate mailing a card to a person’s address, this is another feature that could take off. Send a photocard and mail it out for a small fee.
5. You could have “premium” cards on there. These cards people will have to buy, it could be very affordable for the sender (only $2-3), and you will make easy money. Win-win.
6. Make an Ios app based on the web version (the site is already mobile ready), and charge per purchase. (example-2.99 for buying the app).
