Development based on Revenue-Sharing model

Just wondering that if someone develops your domain(s) in to sites based on revenue-sharing, what will be the proper revenue-sharing arrangement.

50/50

or

more for developer, less for domain owner such as 80%developer/20%domainer?

Just wondering what will be the proper % for domainer versus developer.

I'm doing one for-spec site. The % is a little complicated to calculate but I think it would be - 80% domain + 20% dev of domain sale price and revenue.

Assumption is that the domain is already worth 10x or more of dev cost.

But then again, if i was offered a domain that was worth $100k and my dev cost was $3k, I'd even settle for 10%.

I give my developer most of the profits I make off sites. After all, they are doing all the work. I just sit back and host things. They are coding etc.. the niti griti.
