information Decentralization.com Just Closed at $5,050

I've been watching the Decentralization.com domain auction for the last few days and created a poll here yesterday to get everyone's opinion on what they thought it would close for.

This would be a great name for a blockchain or crypto platform to start up on. I'm sure there are a lot of people in that space who would love to own this domain name.

What are your thoughts on Decentralization.com?

It is long and confusing spelling, but I think $5000 is very undervalued.

i have the .io version of this name.
will keep renewing for few years. regardless of this sale or its value.
honestly, i didn't hesitate much before i reged it.. and im sure if i wasn't fast enough, it'd be just taken by next guy.. rather than not regged at all.

anything like decentralize..decentralized.. decentralization... even maybe decentralizing.. is also good to own!

like for any domains and keywords, check how many tlds are taken.. its always good method for any domainer when u reg stuff.. unireg search tool is best for that imo.. i use it all time.

i'd avoid the S version of decentralize.. so decentralise etc... but even those are taken in few tlds... and i think i saw a sale or two of .com like decentralise,com or something

as long as blockchain is around.. and crypto... decentralize will be a solid keyword.

The 's' is the UK version of the spellings. UK is the land where English originated and all those lands where UK ruled , at least most of them still prefer the s version of the this and other similar words.

The 'z' is the American version.

And about decentralization or decentralisation , blockchain , crypto is all about decentralization .

Without decentralization no Blockchain , Crypto ( non manipulative to a large extent) would exist.

I understand the meaning of the words. Just as a tech entrepreneur, I like the sound of "Decentralized" more that's all. Obviously both are very valuable names for the industry. I just personally prefer more brandable sounding names. Looks like decentralized.com is already developed.

Consider this intro:
"We are 'Decentralized' based in Silicon Valley"
vs
"We are 'Decentralization' based in Silicon Valley"

Maybe not the best example haha, but I think "Decentralized" sounds better.

Yup Decentralization is way too long & prone to typos. Not good for customer experience.

"Decentralization" sounds more like an informational site, which in my view has less potential end user value.
