Dealing with "bad" teachers?

How does everyone here deal with "bad" teachers?

This is my first time running into this problem. I am a straight A student with all Honors classes. As most of you know, this is the beginning of the next academic year and for me we are almost 5 weeks into school.
As I said before, I have never had this problem: I have an English teacher this year who exercises favoritism to its fullest and teaches us one thing in class and her tests are on something completely different.
Like I said before, I am a straight A student and I have A's in just about every other class (with the exception of Latin [Currently receiving a B-]) but in this class I have a poor 73% which is a D.
My mom is about ready to stangle me :P She expects A's from me, I get in trouble for B's. But a D.. Not good
I am the most active participant in her class and she gives me 45/50 participation grade. One girl whose hand I have never seen raised before received EXTRA CREDIT for participation! A 52/50..
I was angry about this. I am one of the 4 football players in the class and she likes to pick on us. So how do you guys deal with situations like mine or similar? It is very difficult for me to adapt to a teacher who doesn't like you because of the activities you are involved in or whatever the case may be. It may just be because of her age, I do not know, but it is no excuse. (She must be atleast 60 or 70 years old)

You do what i have done to 6 teachers who were being racist/biased make them 'retire'------->you don't know how much power you have....

My class hated out old art teacher so much we made her take a sebadicle (sp?) for almost a full year because we were that uncontrolable.

Argh, my old art teacher was so annoying!

The girls got nothing worse than a B3, and the boys got nothing better than a B2...
Yewen, the best artist in the entire year (by far, everyone agrees on it) got a B2 for a A3 page sketch of a big city, amazing detail, all shaded in, ect, a girl drew a pretty bad bowl of fruit, and got a better mark!

I used to think some teachers were biased, but I realized it was usually something i had done.

In grade 6 I had a very bad teacher she pissed everyone off. She always talked about her bunny. MFG I just had to throw a chair at her.. it made me feel so much better.

lol, I used to get some of this at my old school.

In year 8 through 10 I had some teachers that really just had it in for me...

I eventually learned, that each time they started cackling on about something, the best thing to do is LAUGH! lol, cackle your head off. What can they do?

I remember one time (stupid me), I got access to a teachers account that I hated, and plonked about 10,000 text files in his account, all over the place all through his stuff. That was a BAD idea... DON'T laugh in those situtations lol. I had alot of playground cleaning up to do that week

chances are that a bad teacher wont EVER change if you dont obey..
i have had lots of cases in which interesting new and sometimes rude teachers kept on yelling and prejudicing my every action...i admit THIS SUCKS,
but the best way out there is to obey, and act like a good child, and use nice words and a smile at first it will sound so hypocritical but you will soon notice the change you were seeking...
