Why is the Sedo's .io auction in dead silence? Probably they didn't promote it or everyone are watching it silently just like me?

Yes. A tozen + names have got single bids. Probably people bid at the last moment as usual. Or another possibility is that most investors / buyers are unaware of this auction.
@Sedo should consider running some banner ad in Namepros for their next auctions to get more visibility.

I find it amazing that SEDO puts on an auction and they don't even promote it
there are at least 25 names out of the 160 in there that are pretty valuable
right now livecricket.io is leading, which isn't a surprise as cricket is the most popular sport in many countries

fragrance.io is a category killer --- I believe someone from Canada who is a member on this site owns this ...it's a super one word name in a multibillion dollar industry
jetsetters ..didn't jetsetter.com sell for 6 figures
dateapp.io --- great one --- valuable if just for affiliate or just to market your dating app
I also like soccergame.io -- owner is from Morocco ...he or she has it listed for sale at over 18 K but it's only up to 200 USD in the auction ...it's def worth over 1 K

These are .IO domains --- one of the top 5 extensions, and many will say it's the 3rd most valuable extension
reserve prices seem reasonable compared to the SEDO AI auction a few months ago where the reserve prices were insane ...one, I believe, it was law.ai had a reserve price of 1 million usd
I'll place a few bids in the SEDO .io auction before my flight tomorrow morning ...maybe I'll get some steals
I mean why buy arglasses.io for 1 K USD when you can buy arglasses.com for 3.5 million USD ...LOL

Yeah SEDO really did a bad job in promoting them, there are you know medium good domains with low reserve price, onlinemd.io, tbtc.io, cohabit.io, emirati.io, expanding.io, all zero bids...

Yes. Just 10 names have met reserved price as of now and many one word & good names are without bids. This has just become a secret auction without any promotion.

12 domains sold totally. 2 domains got bid at the last moment. Didn't expect livecricket to get the top bid as it's not related to technology field which mostly sells on .io while many technology related names didn't get any bid.

Hey, I actually read this thread before i spoke to sedo for the sale of my .ai portfolio auction and included that for the auction running from 19.09 - 26.09. - hoping to see some better results.

I’ve focused on:

• obviously strong keyword domains
• Very low reserves - its just 99$

Do you think this will attract more bids?

Or am i just basically giving away all this domains, because sedo doesnt market it well?

Its actually an auction just for the 80 domains i sell, thats why there is no way to apply to list domains.
