At what point is Dan going to allow Sellers to have the same rights as Buyers to close down a transaction?

I'm getting more loser hobos clicking the min bid, then getting abusive and insulting when I counter. I know I can contact Dan Support and 24 hours later they'll delete the transaction, but that's simply not a sufficient timeline for some of these hammerheads.

If Buyers can close down a transaction on Dan, then Sellers should be able to as well.

Dan is not interested in solving the resolving problem. Most likely external services (Google, Captcha, Cloudflare) and their interactions with users, domains, or ISPs is causing this problem.
I visit someone else's domain, and it resolves fast if ppc ads are used. I don't use ppc ads (not interested, invitation for udrptheft) and my domains should resolve even faster. But they don't. Maybe there is slight improvement, instead of 30 seconds now I wait 20 seconds, but endusers won't wait for 3 seconds.

Both buyers and sellers already have equal rights.

Buyers are not permitted to close down transactions without repercussions. Sellers will see their domain relisted at a reasonable time. Meaning, after our account managers have performed a decent amount of follow-ups by phone and email, and when the buyer had enough time to process their payment.

You can always contact our support at any given time in case you find it takes too long. They will re-evaluate the viability of your buyer and act accordingly.

If a buyer gets abusive you need to contact our chat support and they will deal with it as well.

We have no plans of removing this option as we currently already use a GDPR friendly version with anonymized data.

no new features interesting for me in this update... continue to wait for :
- a credit line instead of one payment per domain sold
- possibility to sell/rent for less than 99€
- no useless emails
- dan's registrar (not sure if i'll use it or not...)
- multiple currencies in landers
- choice of currency for selling domains different than currency in account


Regarding : Automated ownership verification
Is it possible to setup only 2 ns only, like:
ns1.dan.com
verification-xxxxx.ns3.dan.hosting
or does it need to also put ns2.dan.com ?

Not impressed with the appearance of my domains section now. Visually its a downgrade. Everything is super cramped in and what happened to viewing by monthly traffic stats? I don’t want just an alphabetical view.

I also can’t see all the columns that are in the example photo on an ipad. Even with toggling closed the dan stuff on the left cannot see a monthly views column.

Ability to HIDE domains from sale. Should be implemented ASAP. Afternic has this feature. As mentioned before, some folks do knowingly and routinely add domains they do not own. If I am not selling a particular domain via DAN at this time (but have it listed elsewhere) - earlier or later somebody else will add it to DAN. OK, at this time it can be prevented by adding the domain to DAN and configuring it to makeoffer with a cosmic min. offer. Since it makes no practical sense, an option to HIDE such a domain is a must.

Using a tablet with chrome in tablet mode all menu / navigation is gone if I switch to desktop mode the navigation comes back.

Quick notes on the new design:

• If I sorted my domains by "Date listed" for example, it would not remember that sort when I come back to the Portfolio page.
• Please add an option to remove columns I don't need, giving a space for other columns and letting me focus on what's important. For example, I don't need "Minimum Offer", "PPC".
• When I hover over buttons such as "R" and "PR" I don't receive any feedback to know what the button is doing. I have to click it to know.

I watched the video, and I'm excited about the Categories feature and what will come with it. I'm also excited about DAN's registrar, even though I'll not use it because I can't lose Afternic's Premium Network even with all the issues with GoDaddy/Afternic.

And if there are "repercussions" to a Seller closing down a transaction on a insult-ridden, profanity-laced POS "buyer" then outline these "repercussions" and at least give Sellers the same rights and choices as Buyers.

@DAN.COM I think that the wording 'Pay the full price or make an offer' it's just inviting buyers to make offers, letting them thinking that most sellers will accept a lower offer. I think that a clean phrase like: 'buy it now for...... (and 'Make an offer' button to be the only thing about making an offer) will invite buyers to hit the BIN more often.

Very nice. Some things are still messy on (smaller) mobile view. Like, I cannot search for (own portfolio) and select a domain to remove it, it redirects/shows to a page stating 'this option is not available on horizontal view'.

I too would like to prioritize being able to see the Views and Leads without scrolling over. (These are currently out of view by default, which is pretty annoying.)

Those are much more important to me than Extension, Template, Currency, and PPC Display.

Also, I hope you'll bring back the little button that loads a particular URL in a new window. It was a fast and easy way to see how the landing page displays.

The My Domains section is data overload.

Way too many columns all bunched together and the most important ones, Views and Leads, are way over to the right, often off-screen on many devices.

There needs to be a way of hiding or disabling certain columns, as I guarantee many users will not want to view Currency or Template (among others) each time they access this area.
