Every day we see Sedo posting newly closed sales of domains. Somehow, it just seems too easy.
sellsunglasses.com : $700
mydogsupplies.com : $900
webdiets.com : $1750
Now, frankly, if someone posted these names to these boards, they would be told that they were worth 'reg fee'. The frist two are 3-word domains after all.
Are these sales rare anomalies, or is it not surprising at all that they fetched this much?
None of these appear to be developed at all.
Is it possible that they found end users separately, told them to go to Sedo, told them how to register, and sold it that way? Is this a common practice, or is that just a waste of 10% of your sale price?
