@kollam003 @dictionaryof - look at the numbers from a different perspective.

I am terrible at math, but am great at code and logic (go figure); so a smarter man will have to crunch these numbers...

There may be 1 mil 6Ns, but how many of them can be desirable? I imagine there are far less Straights, pairs, triples, and sequences which make a good 6N. Get your good 6Ns now, because they are being eaten up.

    ... Meanwhile, here's some available "00" 6N's...

    Enjoy!

I agree with this completely. The "good" in any domain category sell out first and always command a premium. It makes the currency concept pretty dynamic -- a sort of hybrid real-estate currency.

There's certainly no good reason for anyone to be registering bottom-of-the-barrel 6N's with 4's in them (except in the best case uses of 4's).

There's a lot of 6N's showing up in places like
    https://auctions.godaddy.com/?ci=55869

Granted, they are patterned, but it's hard to ignore
    773399.com at $2,552 with 2 days left.

    966000.com at $1,500 with 3 days left

    125222.com at $1,100 with 7 days left

    887000.com at $300 with 2 days left

And the .com only "NNNNNN" list at NameBio is certainly "persistently growing" if nothing else.

Those are certainly good results, especially since Godaddy is a 'non-Chinese' platform (although a lot of Chinese buyers are now on there.

Only Godaddy registered domains can be auctioned at Godaddy, right?

hmm there was 1800 in the domain that compelled me.
1800 is used a lot in customer care numbers i think.

In most cases, I think triples are good ... but I'm not so sure about triple 5's. Apparently 5 sounds like "wu", so 555 sounds like "wu wu wu" which the Chinese associate with crying. So, sorta not very positive like the 4's. (You can search Chinese meaning 555.)

Why are you not able to approve the fact even after @dictionaryof so nicely laying out the things? Have you checked a typical Chinese guy's whois? They use minimum 8 [email protected] or qq.com etc. This may be a hype now but it is not without reasons. :)

6Ns, as many other types of domains including ccc.coms etc, are total garbage, but with value. They are pretty similar to postal stamps. I don't deny they might be very good investment in this moment, but their intrinsic value is close to zero, just as intrinsic value of some rare 100 years old postal stamp. Total garbage with the value of gold.

However, they are good as long as there are buyers for them and it should not be ignored.

Yes, for better or worse, I'm up to over 100 now. Though I don't claim to have a perfect record, my previous posts on this thread explain my digital currency theory for numeric domains.

There are so many investments out there, there are bound to be people who disagree out there..

And there are definitely fluctuations in demand for these types of 'commodity' names - LLLL prices for example have gone up and down for many many years before stabilising recent times. Money can be made and more than easily lost too.
