From the 20th of December 2019 the .cy registry announced that it allows registrations of first level .cy domain names.

.cy can stand and be promoted as .cyber
Currently you can only register a .cy name on nic.cy or on certified registrars. The application process takes 3-4 days.
The next huge upgrade of the registry is to allow direct registrations/updates/modifications etc. directly from registrars like any other domain extension.
In my opinion .cy has more potential than .io
What is your opinion about .cy - .cyber names.
