The better CVCV probably would get some interest, but nothing dramatic. There still are bunches of mid-range CVCV.mobis available to register.
If .mobi catches on then I expect pronouncable LLLL and one word names will be among the domains that the new buyers register, and the better ones will then be priced accordingly.
.Mobi is sorta in a holding pattern now - speculation is balanced with perceived risk at current prices, which do not seem, iMHO, to have changed much in the last (nearly) year. If there is widespread .Mobi adoption (as I expect/hope) then a second wave of .Mobi buyers will pick up many now un-registered names.
Note that only a little more than 1/2 million .Mobis are regged - far less than most popular extensions.
