isn't it so frustrating when you have enough traffic to make you loads of cash but just can't convert?

this is not a sales pitch!

im wondering what types of "general" keywords people have had success (if any)
with?

for example, when you're getting a very poor CTR, does "mobile phone" work as a keyword to increase the CTR? adult keywords? etc etc.

I think this thread can help a lot of peeople if anyone would care to comment!

i dont think CTR is too dependent on keywords; it's more dependent on how targeted the ads are and the design/content of your site. however, keywords are relevant when it comes to the CPC, which is how much you get per click.

when it comes to the CPC, keywords that would help are usually the big ticket items that have big ticket/many advertisers. so things like cars and cruises would be keywords that may yield higher CPC than average.

also, consider that we just don't know what people are searching for? what is a good general keyword to use in that case?
