Cre Loaded OS or regular OS

Can anyone tell me the major diffrence betiween the 2! and also are there any other E-commerce packages you all might receomend and or prefare over OS!

Quick comparison between oscommerce, cre loaded and a few others here

Others not mentioned at that link that I like are:
Joomla with VirtueMart (gives you a decent shopping cart wrapped up in a terrific cms
CubeCart (simple to set up with a pretty good feature set)

And there are plenty of others that are worthwhile but which one you should use depends on your scripting skills, features needed, etc., etc.

CRELoaded is a heavily modified version of osCommerce. It comes with a bunch of the contributions that you would otherwise have to manually install to a default osC installation. Personally, I always start from scratch with plain old osCommerce, but depending upon the needs of your store and how comfortable you are with PHP, you may want to look at CRELoaded.
