Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

Yep. fasting is a good thing and although I do it daily (the 12 hours from the time I eat my last meal of the day to when I wake up in the morning) it can be helpful in resetting the body to do a full day (24 hours) fast from time to time.

Stopping before that " feeling full" moment also will do.

immune system is everything.
the virus doesn't care about ages.
the only connection between virus and age is that on average immunity goes down as we age.
but its still a virus+immune system connection

As long as your immune system responds appropriately. Cytokine storms (where your immune system overreacts) took out a lot of young people in the 1918 flu, and are responsible for some Covid complications and fatalities.

As far as I understand (and that is not a lot, I must admit) the immune system overreacting is in fact what kills most people with Covid.

Several individuals reference the 1918 flu pandemic yet fail to realize that back then people use to put leeches on their asses to suck the DEMONS out.

Please...

We now have a state curfew - 8pm to 5am
And my vet is not taking any chances - they’ve gone drive-through. You call and wait in your car when you arrive. They take your history over the phone, staff in protective gear meets you at the door, takes your pet, examines and treats. You wait in your car. They call to discuss, you pay over the phone by credit card, they return pet to you at the door.
If we look back at all this and it looks like overkill, that will mean we got it right.

PA just ordered all non-essential businesses to close, effective at midnight.
Essential services like trash collection, grocery stores, and medical facilities, are to remain open.

OH just postponed tomorrow's primary election til June 2.

U.S. government is now asking to avoid crowds with more than 10 people. 10.

Right now it looks like things are going to be each state call , that could change in the blink of an eye, but for now it appears city and state Gov are making the decisions

So melodramatic!!!!!
It's not "martial law", it's a curfew to cut down spreading of disease. Because a lot of people were acting like idiots and endangering us all.

Yes, steps or laws to protect public safety is not martial law. Martial law requires a much different set of circumstances. Particularly with martial law, the military makes public decisions that local and state authorities generally make. Currently, local and state governments are making decisions on their own.

Is it voluntary for the citizens , are they asking the people of New Jersey or telling them , what are the consequences for walking or driving the streets between during the curfew???

wasn’t meaning to sound melodramatic, if people are acting crazy then it was warranted, it will get the virus off the ground there as well, stay safe

What I found on New Jersey, NJ mayor Phil Murphy has asked residents to comply with a curfew from 8P to 5A , Gov Murphy has activated the National Guard, so it is voluntary for the citizens but the Gov put military on the ground

most likely a North Korea attempt, possibly Russia , it’s just the beginning of the cyberattack stuff IMO , North Korea has preemptive cyber attack capabilities

Cyber warfare has been going on for many years and I believe China is at the top of the current list. I've got several things running, but the link below has some information about the countries most responsible but it is a little dated.

https://www.bba.org.uk/wp-content/u...countries+where+attacks+originate+-++2015.pdf

ADD: I just found out a short while ago, my niece has shown signs of improvement in the last couple hours...woohoo!
