Having relatives and friends scattered all over the globe, I am getting an overload of input (some on the record and some off the record).

My intention for this thread is for community members from around the world to post first hand stories and/or links to information sources that, for the most part, should be reliable.

In my community, just outside a major southeastern city, 'assets' have been placed. Only because I have friends in both high and low places have I heard about some of this. At this point it is only some basic medical supplies that should be equally distributed anyway in preparation for a natural emergency (hurricane/wildfire/etc.).

I will start with posting a link to a site with current data that seems to come from an aggregate of sources and hope others will do the same as they come across similar sites/pages.

Because of the 'typhoid Mary' spread-ability of this disease, I feel we may be in for a really large spread globally which will impact the global economy and through extension, retail domain prices.

One thing is for sure...things will get worse before they get better.

So besides the article earlier - World War I trench fever disease detected in Canada’s homeless population

Saw this pop up today.

'Nobody Knows': Experts Baffled By Mystery Illness in India

New Delhi (AP) -- Health officials and experts are still baffled by a mysterious illness that has left over 500 people hospitalized and one person dead in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

The illness was first detected Saturday evening in Eluru, an ancient city famous for its hand-woven products. People started convulsing without any warning, said Geeta Prasadini, the director of public health.

I guess with what's going on, it was a much needed kick in the ass to take this kind of stuff seriously and hopefully we learn from it, what works and what we need to do better.

Health authorities maintain that these substances found in hydrocarbon pesticides such as DDT can turn poisonous, affecting nervous tissues

Yes, that seems to be the most probable cause.
"State health authorities maintain that these substances found in hydrocarbon pesticides such as DDT can turn poisonous, affecting nervous tissues in human body. This could be why affected people are developing convulsions for a brief period, being getting back to normalcy after some time."

Possible allergic reaction to Covid-19 vaccine in U.K

This is for people with history of allergic reactions to other drugs or substances.
As the following article says, there are people that are allergic for eating nuts for example.
And these two people already were carrying adrenaline autoinjectors, meaning that they have already suffered this allergic reactions in the past.
What I mean is that is normal, for a small % of the people, to develop some kind of reaction to other substances, drugs or even food.
But nothing to worry for the vast majority of the population. Still, the benefits of the vaccine vastly surpass the consequences of not taking the vaccine.

NHS told not to give Covid vaccine to those with history of allergic reactions

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...extreme-allergy-sufferers-regulators-reaction

"Both of the NHS staff carry adrenaline autoinjectors, suggesting they have suffered reactions in the past. These devices, of which the best-known brand is the EpiPen, administer a swift adrenaline boost to counter allergic reactions that occur when some people, for instance, eat nuts."

Average age of people who die of the Wuhan virus is 80+.

A closer look at U.S. deaths due to COVID-19
By YANNI GU | November 22, 2020

TL;DR

Older people die in higher numbers from Heart Disease, Cancer, COPD, etc. Death by those ailments have dropped.

This suggest many people die WITH Wuhan virus and other complications. The risk of death for healthy people under 60 is extremely low.

--
A group of infectious disease experts from around the world have published an outline on how to protect people from Wuhan virus and avoid the disastrous effects of closing schools, businesses, isolatiion.

TL;DR

People who have a low risk of dying from Wuhan virus should go back to normal. That means opening businesses, schools, parks, sports, etc.

People with a high risk should be protected.

This letter was signed by respected infectious disease experts.

Great Barrington Declaration
As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.
https://gbdeclaration.org/

Adopting measures to protect the vulnerable should be the central aim of public health responses to COVID-19. By way of example, nursing homes should use staff with acquired immunity and perform frequent PCR testing of other staff and all visitors. Staff rotation should be minimized. Retired people living at home should have groceries and other essentials delivered to their home. When possible, they should meet family members outside rather than inside. A comprehensive and detailed list of measures, including approaches to multi-generational households, can be implemented, and is well within the scope and capability of public health professionals.

Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.

This one wins the 'strangest story of the day' in my book...

China flight attendants advised to wear diapers for Covid protection

https://www.daily-sun.com/post/5229...-advised-to-wear-diapers-for-Covid-protection
The biggest danger of a small airplane bathroom could be the lack of ventilation. If it's the only site of the plane with no correct airflow and such a small place could retain the virus suspended on the air.
But it's clear that chinese have been taking the pandemic very seriously and that's why they are containing it right now there. I read some time ago that they were doing covid tests to the food entering from other countries...
One case in Shanghai, a city of 24 million people, and they closed the city and started doing thousands of tests to everybody there.
Anyway, the diaper thing is quite... strange yeah :)

US sets new record with over 3,000 COVID deaths in a single day

https://thehill.com/policy/healthca...d-with-over-3000-covid-deaths-in-a-single-day

"The United States set a new record for coronavirus deaths in a single day on Wednesday, with more than 3,000 people dying from the virus, a daunting toll as its spread only worsens.

The U.S. recorded 3,054 deaths from the coronavirus on Wednesday, according to The COVID Tracking Project, beating the previous record from the spring, which was 2,769 deaths on May 7.

Deaths lag behind cases and hospitalizations, which have been spiking for weeks, and now the death toll is setting records too. The spread of the virus shows no signs of slowing down in the short term as winter weather sets in and more activity moves indoors, where the virus spreads more easily.

There are more than 106,000 people in the hospital with the coronavirus, according to The COVID Tracking Project, also a record. The country is averaging a staggering total of more than 200,000 new cases every day.

Health experts are urging the public to step up precautions for a few more months until people are vaccinated. Those precautions include wearing a mask, avoiding indoor gatherings and places such as bars where maskless people spread the virus, staying six feet away from others, and washing your hands."

Another COVID-19 Effect: Hospital-At-Home Care Is Starting To Pick Up

Eighty-year-old Susan Sarchet has been admitted to the hospital for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease more times than she can remember. The last couple of her COPD hospitalizations — once in November 2019 and most recently in October — were radically different.

Instead of being admitted to a traditional hospital, the Denver resident stayed right in her own home.

“Hospital at home” is gaining traction as COVID-19 hospitalizations rise. The idea is to allow those who might normally be admitted to a traditional hospital to instead receive the same care at home. More recently, that’s included some people who have severe side effects from COVID-19 but don’t need more advanced intensive care.

AstraZeneca to work on Covid vaccine combinations with Russia’s Sputnik V developers

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/11/cor...to-work-on-vaccine-with-russias-gamaleya.html

"British pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca said Friday it would soon start work with Russia’s Gamaleya Institute to investigate whether their two coronavirus vaccine candidates could be successfully combined.
The announcement comes shortly after the developers of the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine approached AstraZeneca via Twitter late last month to ask whether they should try combining the two common cold virus-based vaccines to boost efficacy.
The Russian Direct Investment Fund, Russia’s sovereign wealth fund — which has funded the development of Sputnik V — said clinical trials of AstraZeneca’s vaccine in combination with its own would begin by the end of the month.

Data published in The Lancet medical journal this week showed AstraZeneca’s vaccine has an average efficacy of 70.4%, based on the pooling of interim data from late-stage clinical trials. The vaccine was also found to be safe and effective."

Europe in meltdown as Covid death tolls soar and progress unravels

London (CNN)Europe is in meltdown again as daily Covid death tolls reach record highs and countries scramble to expand testing and rescue hospital systems that are buckling under the pressure.

Health experts warn that despite hopeful news with a vaccine rollout starting in the UK, drastic action is still needed to save lives as coronavirus tears through nations attempting to regain some semblance of normality.

Russia and Germany reported record daily Covid-19 deaths on Friday, and October was Russia's deadliest month in a decade. Stockholm's intensive care units hit 99% capacity as Sweden proposed a spring "pandemic law" to potentially force closures of certain public spaces. And France said its lockdown would not be eased as planned on Tuesday after daily case numbers rose on Thursday compared with last week.

Boston biotech conference led to 333,000 Covid-19 cases across US, genetic fingerprinting shows

(CNN)A biotech conference in Boston last February that's already been flagged as a Covid-19 superspreading event led to at least 333,000 other cases across the US and Europe, a new genetic fingerprinting study shows.

One single case seems to have been responsible for 245,000 other eventual cases, the team at the Broad Institute in Massachusetts reported.

Their study finds two particular genetic fingerprints of viruses associated with the conference and then tracks those lineages across the US. One "was exported from Boston to at least 18 US states as well as to other countries, including Australia, Sweden, and Slovakia," the team, led by Bronwyn MacInnis, director of pathogen genomic surveillance at the Broad Institute, wrote in the journal Science.

F.D.A. Clears Pfizer Vaccine, and Millions of Doses Will Be Shipped Right Away

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/11/health/pfizer-vaccine-authorized.html

"The Food and Drug Administration authorized Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use on Friday, clearing the way for millions of highly vulnerable people to begin receiving the vaccine within days.

The authorization is a historic turning point in a pandemic that has taken more than 290,000 lives in the United States. With the decision, the United States becomes the sixth country — in addition to Britain, Bahrain, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Mexico — to clear the vaccine. Other authorizations, including by the European Union, are expected within weeks."

If Americans do not learn a lesson from the Thanksgiving spread and congregate outside their normal group for Christmas, we will easily reach 400K dead by March 1st...of course, I could be wrong.

You do realize the media doesn't get to make up how deaths are officially tallied?!? O_o Right?

Death certificates require many weeks to be official and legit. The fancy glitter of the media doesn't change this fact.

-94% of USA "Covid" deaths had underlying conditions.

-Many deaths from chronic conditions have been relabeled "Covid" for financial incentives

-A Covid diagnosis is null based on the fact the RT-PCR test is not an accurate tool for infectious disease diagnosis.

-TOTAL MORTALITY count worldwide is NOT ELEVATED

Why subscribe to the fear p*rn of the mainstream media when your soul knows on a deep level how crooked and corrupt the "news" is?

Found the following link earlier today.

Testing coca cola for covid in the Austrian Parliament:

As per the covid test, coca-cola found to be sick. So, it must be isolated together with the whole Austrian Parliament. The video is in German, got it without any detailed translation, can anybody German-speaking confirm what really happened in the Parliament?

People publish these stats to scare you.

People who died fighting a war didn't have lung cancer, COPD, congestive heart failure, stage 3 diabetes. Their average age wasn't over 80.
