Countries (dot) vs. SEO

Hi All

I am about to buy couple domain name dot (another countries) for example

hello.ca
hello.me
hello.cm
hello.bz
hello.nu etc...

one of the domain i want to purchased is over $100 per years to register. My question is if i purchased this domain how effective in seo if the domain dot from another countries? although the domain only have keyword i want.

also what country are more favorable in seo?

Google doesn't index sites based on domain extension. The language of the the main determiner.

If your target market is, for example, Spain, then use a Spanish domain (.es). But if you're tarketing the English-speaking market, it will probably be easier to rank with a com, org or net than with a country-specific domain.

.me (english only), .cc , .tv are probably the best options.

I use .gs for my site (branded as "gratis").
