Wha? Really? I don't see any watermarks. It looks like they could be cut/pasted and put on a webpage as-is. Hmmmm... I must be confused. Are you talking about the frame around them, or the fact that all the logos are on one page?

I believe there is a sticky on the forum about how to watermark your images. It's a pretty good sticky, I used it in the beginning, but then found another way of watermarking. Whatever works, right.

The purpose of a watermark is to make it so difficult to edit a design that the potential client would be discouraged to attempt it. Also, it makes the design unusable in it's watermarked form. I'm not trying to run this in the ground or be rude, but if no one can see the watermark, it may as well not be there. Your images would work as-is on any web page. They are perfectly sized already and there is nothing to stop someone from stealing the design (or a portion of it for that matter) with a simple cut, crop and paste. When a contest holder is completely new to the forum and has no rep or trader-rating then your chances of getting ripped are probably higher (no offense to the OP).

Again, not trying to be mean, I just sincerely don't want to see anyone get taken advantage of because they didn't properly protect their contest entry (hint, hint Koncepts ).

briman1970: Not sure why you felt the need to explain all of that. lol. You're not being mean just lacking more in-depth information regarding watermarks. There are three types of watermarking: visible, not so visible and not visible at all. The not visible at all can be done by hiding information in the file tags or one pixel or more (yes that's possible). And only the designer will know where they laid their mark. So if their design is found being used without payment/authorization they will be able to prove it. But visible watermarks are much easier to rid simply because it's visible especially with the smart erase tool if used properly; can't smart erase a specific thing if you can't see it. :hehe: Money has a watermark that fits in category two (not so visible but visible if put up to a bright light of some sort). Most of the designs on here have a watermark that fits in the first category that being visible. I chose to watermark my designs sometimes in all three categories and sometimes just 2 or 2 and 3. Doesn't take long to do. Believe me, my work IS protected all over and throughout. Besides website hosts are quick to terminate accounts that use unauthorized use of copyrighted material (that includes images). So no concern on my end. hehe.
