Logo Contest - $50

Hi,

I need a new logo for one of my websites. The site is about japanese Anime and Manga. The title is "Anivision".
The "v" should stand out a bit in the logo.

If there are too many entries I like, I may award the 2nd and 3rd place too. The prize then would be $10 for each.

Prize: $50 via Paypal

Format: .psd (if you use a non-standard font, it has to be included)

Style: mainly text-based

@umxca: I'm sorry, but that doesn't seem like a "community element" to me.

@Timoteo: Both look nice. But the icon in the second version doesn't fit

@ZeniusIVanisher: Ah, someone who kwnow what kanji are A different kanji wouldn't make a differerence I think since almost no one knows what they mean. On the other hand, if there were a kanji that looked like a "v" it could replace the "v". Another thing is the height: it's too big in size

@will7: Your image is gone? Since your logo looked really promising, could you reupload it on another host please?

@lime: Interesting idea. But it still looks too unprofessional. The font should be replaced and the mouth seems too much hand-drawn?

@famousartguy: Wow, that's a really impressive work, very stylish. Yet it could be even better: Change the color (the purple doesn't fit), move the "v" a few pixels down so that it becomes easier to regognize and I'm not sure about the main font.

@vanilla afro: The reference to anime, manga or community is missing.

@Devery Design: the second version looks better. But it sill lacks reference and it's a bit too professional / clean.

@Ruffio: Sure looks nice. But the refernce is missing here too
