Logo Contest $50

I am in need of a logo for my new site which is still in development. I would like it to scream drag racing. Throw away the corporate BLAH and have some fun!

Thank you for your entries. It looks like we've got a good start.

vivsin: Like the concept, some changes I would like to see are the flames showing more movement (old school flames) and the text needs to be more unique.

josephine: I appreciate the effort on this, though it looks too much like NASCAR to me. I guess it may be the colors and the flags. Thinking something smaller and something I could use for print and the web. Flames are good ~ Simple, Clean not too busy. I hope that helps.

Sorry, I missed yours. I was writing as you were entering.

dvirhazout: Love this concept too! The car will have to be more like a funny car (search Google images), the flames on these cars actually come out the sides, big fat tires on the back and lots of smoke out the back when they burnout. Colors could probably be more unique. I love the simplicity of this idea. It looks like it would work well for tshirts and other advertising. Thanks for your work.

dvirhazou: I am hoping you will send a revision based on above suggestions.

vivsin: Still would like to see a revision from you too. FYI I am leaning toward the horizontal shape like some of these others just because I think it will fit into the header of the site better. So possibly if you have any ideas to incorporate your symbol off to the side of the letters that would work better.

Saves Th3 Day: Love this logo, was wondering if you could modify the flames some. Here is a pic I came across for an idea. http://www.hospitalgowns.com/images/BIG-Flames.jpg Not as busy as these, but like the color variations and even the flame inside the flame.

klavixs: Looking for simplicity, something that could be used on print as well as the web. I do like the flames on the letters.

mav: I like this too, but here again I think I like the logo to be more left to right than circular. I would prefer the tachometer shape to be round and for .com to be incorporated into it somewhere.
