domain Contagion.com and Some Worthless Domains :)

Hello! I have a domain, contagion.com, that I would like to sell. I've spent most of this week researching the domain market, and I appreciate how complex it is assigning a fair value to a domain, and hence I still don't know how to approach this one. I've considered sedo, AfterNIC, Igloo and Domainnamesales, but I guess I must have trust issues because I don't feel comfortable with any of them.

My old business partner and I registered contagion.com in 1998 when we planned on starting a marketing firm with the tagline: "Great ideas spread quickly." Unfortunately, just when we started to ramp up the anthrax attacks started, and well, that was the end of that. :P It's currently registered with Namecheap.

I would appreciate any input on fair value, sales tactics, thoughts about the companies listed above, etc. I would also definitely be open to a professional appraisal from this site, but I figured I'd start here.

I also have a small collection of probably worthless domains that I was going to try and sell on the Namecheap market, but I wondered if any of them stand out as being less than worthless?

It's a great domain to own. Value is tough to gauge but definitely in the thousands
