domain Confused and worried on sale process - barbequechief.com

someone wants my domain www.barbequechief.com and got another request for tendergrills.com

my problem is that they are simply not willing to go over to the current register and purchase it even tho, i did a price reduction. they want a private sale. i am not used to private sales especially with scams.

what could be the reason for a private sale? i am much more relaxed getting it done with the current register.

any advice?

If someone truly wants your domain name, they'd not be so fussy about dealing directly with established domain registrars. Especially given the fact that you're offering them some discount.

If someone is being pushy about a specific method to finalize a transaction, something might be fishy.
