Sharing a recent UDRP outcome for the record.
In WIPO Case No. D2025-4613, the Panel denied the complaint against Estafetas.com in its entirety.
Key findings:
• “Estafetas” was found to be a Spanish dictionary word (plural of “estafeta”)
• Respondent demonstrated legitimate interests as part of a lawful domain-investment activity
• No evidence of targeting, impersonation, phishing, or bad-faith registration or use
• Passive holding and offering a dictionary-word domain for sale was not considered bad faith
A request for Reverse Domain Name Hijacking (RDNH) was made in the Response. While the Panel exercised its discretion not to issue a separate RDNH finding, the Complaint was denied on all substantive grounds.
