.tv .com, .net., .org and .info all taken

.com, .net., .org and .info are all taken... what weight would give this in deciding whether to purchase .tv?

maybe the com,net,org,info have all followed each other on a bad name.

if you understand me ,anyway i know what i mean...lol

No weight at all.

I look at the .tv I want on all its merits for the decision I have made. If the .com is available, then I have mispelt the domain name.

I will however admit it is a good feeling to see all the other major TLD's taken but it does not influence my decision and at the end of the day, there is something like 181 TLD's.

Very good point.

I've identified quite a few .tv domains that are stragglers, so to speak. The .com, .net., org., .info and sometimes .mobi extensions are all taken -- and i'm feeling a quite strong urge to grab them. But I'm fighting back and trying to be logical. In the case of a couple of travel-themed domains, I think I'll grab them. The others... hmm.

None really. What is the quality of the name your thinking of regging & what development potential does it have?

Good point on the misspelling, I think that way as well.


Also......more like 300+ extensions. Really quite annoying.
