Verisign the who operates the .com domain name registry is reporting today that the number of domain names in the .Com Domain Name Base is once again over 128 million domain names.

Back in September 2016 the number of .Com’s in the Domain Name Base passed 128 million for the first time.

However due to the large amount of speculative domain registrations in the 4th Q of 2015 which dropped in the 2016 early 2017.
