Domainers usually are not interested in names like this unless they can get them at reg fee, but if you find the right end-user you might be able to ask above $750, you might have to contact some people who are in the tourism and travel business in Colorado to see if anyone is interested. It looks like all the other major extensions are taken for this domain and this being dot US is a great advantage over other extensions when it comes to geo locations in the United States. The best strategy with domains like this is to hang on to them if you could until .US becomes more mainstream then hopefully the end-users will be contacting you. IMO
PS: I happen to have coloradosprings-co.us and I have kept it because it just looks nice, If it was just coloradosprings it would probably be worth more than $10000.00

Well the city names by themselves are probably the most valuable domain wise, the other versions are only valuable if they are developed and promoted, you can see this trend in some of the older extensions. If people see ColoradoSpringsCo they instantly recognize it but what comes to their mind naturally as far as type-ins is first ColoradoSprings and secondly CityofColoradoSprings . Adding the State abbreviation perhaps is better for some of the smaller cities which helps people know which State the city is in, but for the more famous geo locations people usually just go with the name by itself. IMO
