i registered some .NZ domains recently and one of my twitter domain followers told me that i am wasting my time .He/she told me that co.nz will always be king ,same as co.uk over uk .
That they might become popular in 10 years time .
Now i dont know because my domains are brand new ,some NNN.nz and LLL.nz [keywords]so time will tell.
I am just thinking that people prefer to type shorter extensions ,would they not buy from a website that has .NZ ext but go for the CO.NZ one ?
Isn't it easier to type domain.nz then domain.co.nz ?
Just asking opinions

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It's the same issue as .uk over .co.uk, shorter version might eventually take over but it's going to take a long time time.
.co.nz is old and established.
As a business I would to own both to cover bases.
For domaining purposes: it's a small market, even premium keywords don't command huge prices, you're looking at low $,$$$ typically.
