With the recent popularity and domination of the new gTLD registrations in the .Club extension, it's appropriate to get a showcase and discussion thread going for the extension. Use this thread to showcase .Club domains you invested in, Discuss .Club, and point out record breaking .Club sales.

@bytedo I guess my thinking went along these lines:

Swappers - Gazillion of clubs focused on wife, home, book, food, you name it swapping.

Textbook Rental - High search volume, high CPC kw, students getting poorer and poorer, and as the .COM will probably cost at least $50k (or IMO should), .CLUB might be a good alternative for some.

Not much IMO. FarOut, Ramses, Romans (in that order) would be my favorites as there seems to be a couple of clubs named after those.

Sweet. I registered homebrews/club thinking about beer.

Looking online at a totally unrelated thing, I came across the term homebrew about console gaming. I totally forgot about that. My homebrews .club could be targeted towards home brewers or gaming/video console homebrews. It's always nice to find another industry that your domain may relate to.

@Colin Campbell can you please indicate if the renewal fees for LLL.Club domains will be increasing at our registrars from this June 15th 2016? Or is the price increase for current remaining LLL.Club purchases?

Will the renewal fees be based on the new purchase prices?

All this weird pricing is going to make it hard to buy and sell ngtlds in the aftermarket, because we don't know the pricing for each and every domain within an extension.

You could have some LLL.club's with many different renewal prices. This is such a can of worms to deal with. What a friggin headache the aftermarket is becoming. End users will shy away from the ngtlds due to this bs pricing structure.

I totally agree with you... I was lucky to pick a few in a niche that like at $10 each last year. I just had a look for a few more LLL.Club in the niche I like and noticed the purchase price is now $100 -$150... So does this mean the renewals will be at this price?

it sounded like Colin was saying that their current inventory held by the registry will be priced higher. It will be nice to get an exact answer to your question. I assume that if you were to drop them, that the registry would reprice and resell them for the new higher pricing. It doesn't make anyone sleep better at night not knowing what the hell the registries are doing with pricing when it is all over the place.

The general public/end users won't be buying new gtlds when they have to deal with crazy random pricing for each domain within a gltd.
