Cloned domains: A serious issue

Somebody cloned one of my domains: they copied the whole source code, the graphics, the adsense codes and even the privacy terms including my personal data. In fact they made an exact copy and then they added some malicious javascript code.

The clone is: 9sshoes[dot]com
The original: scarpeballerine[dot]com

I noticed what was happening when AdSense disabled the original site from the program because they see the same ads served on a malicious site...

This is a serious issue, since it shows how easy a domain can be cloned and how all the personal data and the affiliate and ppc accounts can be used to link your name and domain name to a malicious activity.

What's your suggestion on this?

Sounds more like an unauthorized site mirror. I don't think a domain can be cloned. IMO

This is a website clone. There are many scripts that can download a whole website.
You can report them for stealing your copyrighted work.

Looks like a scamming Chinese thief who is under Whois protection.

Report the offending domain name to the domain registrar (JIANGSU BANGNING SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CO. LTD); if the register is in Chinese, then report to ICANN.

I would say that you should report thief to his host, but I don't see any nameservers in the record.

But here is his IP: 75.126.46.69 (Soft Layer Technologies, Inc, in Dallas, Texas). You could always get in touch with them.

I reported the cloned site to the registrar and they've just placed the domain in ClientHold.

Do you think this is enough?

softlayer is pretty good in helping with this issue....also, get in contact with google(but don't expect a quick response, lol), report that incident so that your adsense account doesn't get shut down...

Yes, explain to the adsense people what has happened so that you don't lose your account forever. They will listen, although it may take a while (I know this from personal experience).

No, the registrar suspended it, not the hosting company.

Really? It's horrible.
I suggest you report the issue to as many parties as you can: Adsense, Hosting Company, Domain Registrar.
