Fake or "Evil Twin" Hotspots are a Wi-Fi hotspot security issue. Basically, someone creates a cloned hotspot in a public area encouraging users to connect. Once they join this fake hotspot, the cracker can do all kinds of menace - solicit payment info, steal personal data etc.
