which will typically be of higher value worldwide, a citycountry.com or a citycountry."countrycode"

so for example:

cityitaly.com vs cityitaly.it ?

also what about cityitaly.com.it ? any value in those?

I'm assuming in this Italy example that the cityitaly.com would be the highest value but I don't know i what people/domainers in Italy think.

any insights and opinions will help. just curious about this. thanks

Both are fine for development but not ideal for resale. It is difficult to sell mediocre-quality domains at a premium price at a sales ratio high enough to justify investing in such names.
