Choosing a new Palette.. What do you think?

Hi, im fuser from Wikli ( http://wikli.com ) and ive been told many times when i asked for a site review that the colours that ive chose are too dark and difficult to read... As i take opinions and suggestions into consideration, i would like you help to improve this...

What do you think? what colors should i chose? Should i light up the ones i use or use completely different colors?

If you have a color palette you like or saw a good combination, please let me know

on my original post, i wanted a review of the concept and if as a Wikipedia user, you would use it... i was told not to bump the thread as it was old and as it was on another forum...so i started a new one on "design review" and not on "website review" to get ideas and suggestions to change it..

I think Orange text would give less strain on the eyes. Nice site though.

Personally, i like either crystal clear designs, with a web 2.0 style backdrop that's "framed" but gives a decent 3D effect. Can be any combination of white/blue, blue/orange, black/white, etc. Basically anything that feels like you've created harmony, yet retained some uniqueness. Play around with 5-6 of your favorite color combinations and bring them back to us for review. Eventually make a poll out of it and see what the majority thinks.
