Global Warm Now ... Please Review ;)

Hi, im fuser from Global Warm Now ( www.globalwarmnow.com ). I wanted to make a site with a specific niche so i gave "Global Warming" a try. My idea is to put interesting articles for people to read. For the moment, the content is all taken from free articles sites but i also want to write articles myself.

What do you think about the template i chose?

What about the ad placement? You can see the placement varies..

Should i turn it into a blog or continue like this? A blog is much much easier to publish content.

Not bad, but i believe you're right - WordPress would be better for you. Especially since you can embedd more content such as slide shows, video, etc. with ease.
There are tons of templates available, so you can really focus on content.

I like what you've done so far, the "cloaked" Google ads as "Sponsor" is not a bad idea. The links to your content are visually almost secondary, though. Your nav bar is mostly at fault for this, i'd make it more of a focal point, so users can easily access the stories/reports/content they'd like to read.

Overall, for your purpose, i'd really take a close look at WP.

The thing is that if i do it in wordpress, i cant do different ad positions and that is something i really like and think that works

The template matches the topic of Global Warming.
I don't know what skills you have in graphic design, but a nice logo, even with that leaf (I really like that leaf) would perk it up a bit.
