Is it a somewhat good estimate that
chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

Share your thoughts please

I do not know there is so many low ball offers but auction houses running very close to $3k and we are waiting all chips sold out under $3k to see solid floor price of $3k
People see someone else sale for $1800 and they start low ball offers to other for that range.

On Sedo with the domain parked so its only 10% commission. I don't like how long it takes to get paid some times but thats another cost of doing business.
I had to think about this. But I'm pretty sure that 10% only applies to Buy Now listings on domains that are parked with Sedo.

Just read domeen's post, same comment.

Sedo auctions will apply a 15% commission.

I realise this isn't 4L but I know some people may have some ideas here.

I spoke to a friend today who has a nnn.com he wants to sell. He has been spammed with $600,000 offers. But I have let him know what it is actually worth.

Any ideas as to who I might contact for a private sale? He's not interested in paying 15% commission on a potential $1,000,000 sale.

Awesome numbers too. No bad ones.

Thanks.

PS: This is serious.

I've used escrow.com many times and they charge $8900 for $1M domain name transaction. I've also had direct sale to a corporation, drafted a contract with domain name, website files and non-compete clause, no escrow fees, received a corporate check, a little more nerve-racking.

PS: This is serious.

If customer is serious about this purchase, they can fly to your friend and deposit money to his bank account, while receiving domain from him. Tickets will cost less than $5000 anywhere in the world.

We are gearing up for the next big price jump on the CHIPs. According to my analysis of the market and strong buy signals, I see the floor reaching $4k in a week or two. The boat seems to be sailing strong !

$4k in 1-2 weeks? Seems rather optimistic given past 4-5 days activity.

There was a lot of supply in $2400-3200 range, but it is being depleted rather quickly.

I think the market has taken a breather for the last few days, but is pretty rock solid around $2.8-3k at auction on average. Some have gone a bit under and some have gone a long way over $3k recently but that's pretty much where we are today.

I am actually very pleased to see things slowing down for a while, it's a healthy sign before the next wave up IMO.

I think $4k could come any time, it's too hard to predict when the next big wave up will happen.

pbyb.com at GD buy it now $2700. I guess slipped under radar, because bidders are killing each other on auctions finishing soon with prices already $2850 and higher.
That would be western floor. Chinese floor would be probably 10% or more higher because of arbitrage, language barriers etc.

Strong private buy signals, my friend. Keep watching !

Yes i have solid email for big Brokerage, so demand is going up and market in all category is slowing down but now they consider 4L as premium hardcore asset , so even market go down this both category not going to drop like in 2008 or what happened in past but other may be go all the way down which are in bubble.
Another reason chips are stable is also fund moving to non chips which are growing very rapidly and hopefully hit 1k floor in couple months.

Just checked NameBio sales for November 17.
Only 3 LLLL.com below $455 out of 80.
otxl.com sold for $330 (nj), sgux.com $359 (flippa) and ykax.com for $410 (nj).
So, we might be in $450 floor world now for LLLL.com

For LLLL.com CP:

The numbers are contaminated by a smart buyer that managed a deal for 13 names for $1800 each with BuyDomains, 4 for $1995-1999, 4 for $2250-2500 all at Sedo.

Real auction ones went from $2636 to 5000 with median of $2855.

As expected, CP continues to rise, albeit slower, but "randoms" are really catching up, doubling and tripling the floor in one month.

There's always smart buyers. On the other side it get's balanced by end-user or not so smart sales.

The other day I saw net chip sold for 50000 yuan.

And then you have flippa where yppp.net got sold yesterday for just $200. Those guys have serious issue with not being able to get decent exposure to liquid and/or premium assets, as they have focused on monetizing exposure regardless of sale vs maximizing their profit from sales.

Now is final accelaration before you will feel only air below your feet!?

LOL. Do I hear "slow rise" about CPs? from $1200 to $2800 in 3 weeks now is called slow. Ha!
