Is it a somewhat good estimate that
chinese LLLL.com premiums are at at least $1billion value today?
Unlike Number .coms chinese premium LLLL.com boomed in value in a very short period.
Will they hold their value or is it the biggest BUBBLE ever seen in domains?

Share your thoughts please

At this prices its all a speculation. I would say, they can`t find many end-users for price ranges $3000. Thats simply too much

This has graduated from the "end user" play for LLLL.com
You have 20 CPs in 5 years and 100 regular LLLLs and that might be as good as quick cash of 20x5K+100x2K=300K with annual cost of $1200 to maintain and occasional end user sales of $10K per piece.

Yes, but don't you think that is pure speculation? Where is the value? Once Chinese domain prices go down, non-Chinese will fall a lot more. That is incredibly dangerous investing into non-Chinese domains because you risk so much more.
Chinese will not going to drop prices, lots of new investor who even do not know about domain name just buying because they are rich and moving fund from stock market to this new market.
Some good domain investor and industry experts have created a huge domain market there with around 200000 domain traders working everyday and doing auction in their local group and selling to uneducated people who are rich.
They also know 5L and 7N are all speculation so that mean they are only focusing in certain category and only paying prices to certain names.
For 4l.com the price has to go up for sure because once they get hand it is going to keep moving around in china like how this 4N.com is moving there since last 2 year with crazy prices and still has not busted.

Just received an email from a 4.cn broker to sell all of my CP's for me to a Chinese buyer for $2300 after all commissions etc.

I'll wait........

You'd do much better buying Chinese domains and numeric domains IMO

Domeen sold all his CP's about a month ago for around $1100 each, that's why he is frustrated.
He now holds about 200 non CP's.......

I would be upset too, prices are about to reach triple that price very soon.

I hold all of mine for now :)

Remind me, who was the other guy who sold 100 CP at 4.cn in one day?

"all"? Is that 1? $2300 is low for even 1 today.

Exactly, I agree and as I said before, a profit is a profit. You have your money, I don't yet!

No I honestly didn't think they would rise so quickly, but at the moment I am happy about it.

Yes at that moment I was very happy. I really was :)
I still say, good luck all who have hold for so long.
But it looks like regular .com prices are picking up too. I hope I don`t exit too soon from that one

Yep, that would be a good idea.

I haven't worked out my price for exit on my non CP's yet, going to wait and see where the CP's go to first.

Good attitude, you need to look forward now. Yes, markets are unpredictable. I also sold a premium at the beginning of the year for very little money believing it was a hype. After that sale I did my homework and have not sold another since. I am now motivated to sell some more but I'll be patient. As I mentioned, it's not a bubble because it lacks the classic characteristics of a bubble. Instead it's the creation of a liquid market that the US never had because of little enduser demand. Chinese businesses have actual use cases so there is demand. Where there's demand, there's a market and prices can go up ..anywhere really as long as businesses can pay the price

that guy was Jim (Holleran) who sold off those 100 Chips in a day at 4.cn..
but i doubt he is frustrated cause he reinvested it in over 4000 6Ns and is creating even more profits now with these

around $1k for each of them, but at that time $1k was the roof for these chips
