I don't know much about the Chinese domain market...do domains with Chinese characters and a .com extension have value? And if so, what's your view on the future? Will they drop the .com, .cn, (...) and use their own "web" gTLD in Chinese characters (I think it's already available)?
I think Chinese people used to have 2 keyboards or 1 big keyboard for flipping between Simplified Chinese and Latin characters. Nowadays, I read they mainly use speech recognition for Chinese language input.
In order to type in a mixed language phrase, you'll need both types of input character sets.
It would be awesome if people familiar with the Chinese domain market could shine some light on this.
A sample domain would be: 趸.com
Worthless or sellable? The sign means "wholesale" if Google Translate isn't mistaken.
Thanks,
Brandon
