I am trying to check a list of .Org domains but it checks about first 3 and then error for all others.

I checked using freewho, idotz, and few other sites....all give same problem.

I understand that dot-org registry has set some kind of limits of list checking.

I am wondering if there is a way around it such as using some proxy etc.

Is there any such site or free application that can check me a list of about 140 domains at a time?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Do you mean to check for availability to register? If so, regfly's powersearch works well.

try using Godaddy's bulk registration tool. I use that tool all the time and I have never had any problems with it.

I am looking to check a list of domains ONLY FOR .ORG extensions.

I want to see what is available out of that list so that I can then register few good ones from the list.

Godaddy bulk check is not for .org

Please advise if you know any method to do it.

Thanks.

If you specify the extension as .org , it will work fine. ("it" being GoDaddy's bulk - I just did it to make sure.)

GKJFDSGD.ORG
DVZXVDF.ORG
AJKGDSFNKJ.ORG
ASFGSA.ORG
SFLKAKSDJFKSA.ORG
ADSFNJGKSDFG.ORG
AGFSGSEG.ORG

If not, using the proxy feature on domain name analyzer (Free from download.com) should work fine.

(Just to clarify, don't click the boxes below the bulk search with the .com/.net/.info - just input the exact domains you wish to search, so the domain name with the .org, and it will search them all immediately - one of the benefits of root access, I suppose ;) )
