Check Your Auto-Renews

Just had a bunch of names get Auto-Renewed at Register.com for $35 a piece. I had no idea that they used the feature until i got charged. They offer a 30-Day money back guarantee so i did get my money back but it is a good reminder to make sure you want this feature for your domains or not. Make this part of your spring cleaning if you are wiping your portfolio.

Thats one thing I like about godaddy, they email you a week or two in advance to say

that "these" domains are about to auto renew..as soon as I get that email I go to my

account & change that. At least you got your money back..still a hassle though.

I think this is why they offer the 30-Day money back guarantee. As far as i knew i didn't get any emails or anything about them going to charge me. Not upset about the situation just kind of a little kick to the nuts.
