I was skeptical as well. As a matter of fact, I asked the same question back in Jan and was told they are a re-seller of the resellerclub network. From what I've seen and gathered, they're a pretty big network (including whiz.in, answerable.com and registermatrix.com).
After checking out their main site, they are offering their reseller's mobi's for 7.99, so gdtechindia is not marking anything up.
As for using them, their interface and checkout are quirky as the others mentioned (not too bad), their customer service has been good (so far), and I would use them again...at least for the present with the quality of names that seem available at this point.
Would I choose them to register cars.mobi? Nope. Would I choose them to register averageregs.mobi? Yep. Would I choose them to register domains I want privacy on? Yep (they have been a free add on like other reseller club accounts)
Besides, you can always transfer later if you're not happy.
