We knew this day was coming soon, but it's still upsetting and sad.
He was such a great guy, who kept Section 244 singing and dancing during 7th inning stretch.
He also did magic tricks for the kids.
Last season, he gave me an autographed straw hat, which I cherish.
Over the years, we have gotten to know Charlie and his family, wife Trudy and children.
He never smoked a day in his life, so it seems unfair that he should contract such a disease. But life is like that. I had an uncle who died at 95, and he drank like a fish, and smoked like a stack. Sigh...
If any of you went to Camden Yards at Oriole Park for an Orioles' game, you probably saw him.
May he rest in peace.
