Charge for sending PM's

Namepros should charge NP$ for sending a Private Message! Like a postage fee. All the collected NP$ would go towards a good cause!

What does everyone else think?

I dont know how many PM's are send per day, but if every user sent 1 a day and they cost 1NP$ thats alot of money after a few months!

Usually, disputes, sales, questions and such are handled by PM, so charging per PM sent could get costly.

Additionally, new members may not have any NP$ to begin with, hindering their ability to deal with the above.

If people want to donate to worthy causes, they can always purchase charity ribbons in the store.

So, in short, not a good idea - just like charging per email sent, IMO.

so you post for np$ and then when someone says pm me the domains you lose the np$ by private messaging them, not good for the economy of the np$ and I think a negative for a lot of members including new members, I applaud the charity in your thinking, but stop the taxes, Jay votes NO :hehe:

I think its a good idea in concept, but just wouldn't be very practical to institute for all the reasons listed above. For one sale a person might send five or six PM's, costing them 6 NP $, but by posting sold once in the thread, they only earn 1 or 2 NP $, thus charging them 4 NP $ just to possibly buy a domain. One more nay vote from me...
