Changing whois info

Hi, I would like to know how whether or not it is essential to change the whois info of domains that have been pushed to me my account by others? I got to thinking this after reading this thread: http://www.namepros.com/legal-issues-and-disputes/231100-domain-scandal-my-domains-were-stolen.html

If I should be doing this for security reasons why can I not find an option to do this with some registars that I have domains with?

You should always keep the whois info accurate and up-to-date. You should be able to find an option to do this for ALL registrars.

Try contact your registrar to help you locate this option
Some have also bulk modification feature for the whole domain portfolio

It is an ICANN requirement that registrars ensure their domain-holders' whois information is up-to-date. You run the ultimate risk of losing the domain if you don't do this.
